Details that make up the Whole

In every project, I photograph there is a myriad of “stories” to tell. Whether it’s the fine craftsman woodworking, carved stonework, stained glass details or the subtleties of a quiet location in the woods.

All of these “stories” come together to tell the overarching story of a commercial or residential project. These are all facets that I consider when photographing a space.

As I prepare to take on a project for a client I always ask the question of what’s important to capture, what are the small details that help tell the story that they are trying to tell.
